A Study on The Formational System of Network Analysis Method to Assess The Fire Risk in a Building |
| Abstract |
For selecting a reasonable design alternatives of fire protection, It is necessary to assess the fire risk in a building systematically and estimate the probable reduction in damage due to different protection measures and combination of measures. Network analysis method is a probabilistic approach that can be used to comparision and evaluation. This method is based on the viewpoint that the fire spread is the transition of burning phase of fire and building fire protection performance is the synthesis of the performances to prevent the transitions of the fire phases. In this study, evaluation systems for fire protection performance, system components for quantification are analyzed and structure of evaluation model is proposed. The result of study shows that this methodology can be improved by incoporating into them estimates provided by fundamental studies and data on actual fires. |
