This paper investigates the possibility of CAD system which could automatically produce the bill of materials from the various layers based on a study of the related workflow in practice. In particular, it takes an example of the bill of fabric materials of the flats built by the Korea National Housing Corporation, and shows outputs of the system developed for it as a part of the integrated CAD system in future. |
