A Study on Sound Insulation and Acoustic Planning of the Lecture Room |
| Abstract |
Acoustic performance of a lecture room can be measured mainly by 2 categories, how ample and clearly the sound can be delivered and how well the outside noise are reduced to acceptable levels.In this paper 3 general lecture rooms and 3 lecture halls were chosen for typical study. For testing each room's acoustic performance, sound insulation, reverberation time and sound pressure levels on typical frequences were measured. All 6 results show the poor conditions as lecture rooms in acoustic view point. Several first steps to improve the sonic environments are mentioned at the end. |
