Abstract Lightweight mortar has been developed successfully for many years ago, but which has not used widely because of its low of compressive strength. So lately high strength lightweight mortal, which has the high compressive strength low unitweight, is utilized as new construction material in the point of viewof the optimization of building. Based on the experimental results presented, the following conclusions are drawn.1. The most proper mixing rate of silicafume is 10%, and its compressive strength is 387Kg/cm2.2. Compressive strength has increased that to 1.8% the mixing rate of superplastic.3. Because of silicafume is a ultra-corpuscle, viscosity is increase, so workability is decrease, when it used in mortar. There for using by superplastic decrease the unit quantity of water.
