Abstract As wind power market is increasing, the interest of the system connection technology is also increasing. In order to integrate wind power into electrical grid, it is essential to predict wind power outputs as wind power generator's outputs is influenced by space-time causes such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and etc. Many of wind power predictions use the past data based on time-series. As wind power is influenced by space and time. Therefore, we need to predict wind power outputs using spatial modeling based on geographic information such as longitude and latitude. In this paper, we propose a wind power prediction system based on Ordinary Kriging. The empirical data, Jeju wind farm's 2014 hourly power output data, is considered to verify the proposed prediction model based on OK.
