Abstract |
The roads designed and constructed by a particular public agency mostly have similar road structure and luminaire installation conditions. In the case where LED street luminaires are installed along public roads and specifications are already determined, there should be a performance assessment of the optional luminaires. This study comparatively analyzed the performances of multiple LED street luminaires applicable to roads having a standard road configuration. Lighting calculations applying the domestic LED street luminaires were conducted with respect to the requirements and standard road. Also the maximum spacing calculation for the LED street luminaires was carried out to meet the performance requirements. The quality factor of the street luminaires enabling maximum installation spacing were analyzed in terms of utilization factor, lumimaire luminous flux(power consumption), incident luminous flux, average luminance of road and light distribution. |
