Abstract |
Elevator is operated according to optimal speed pattern that elevator’s operation control unit determines for fast and comfortable moving from current position to destination. When motor is controlled by inverter for elevator speed control, Inverter operates at low modulation ratio in the regions for torque, constant acceleration, constant deceleration and landing, so as to operate motor at low speed. This, however, has the weak point of causing the efficiency reduction of inverter and motor as well as high torque ripple rate. This research, based on the characteristic that the elevator operation condition of speed pattern is determined prior to operation, proposes a control method of maintaining inverter’s modulation ratio independently of motor speed by developing inverter’s DC-Link terminal voltage in accordance with speed pattern. |
