Abstract In this paper, we designed the motor to overcome the running resistance at the high-speed condition and adjust the speed of motor at the low-speed condition. In general, the permanent magnet motor is designed in the area which requires high-performance. The permanent magnet motor has to be designed with the most suitable shape according to the load conditions and the specifications because the property varies depending on the shape and angle of the permanent magnet. In this paper, we selected the driving motor capacity for the load conditions and the specifications and conducted conceptual and detailed design using the finite element method. The experimental data was compared to the designed data in order to verify the validity of the study.
