Abstract |
This paper proposes a PMS control algorithm for optimal operation of a stand-alone micro grid system. The stand-alone micro-grid is important to reduce fuel consumption of the diesel generator and stability of system. The main power source in the micro grid is maintained by the constant voltage constant frequency(CVCF) ESS to reduce fuel consumption through the diesel generator OFF. And a system in which renewable energy and diesel generators are linked to emergency operation and charging depending on the battery condition. Also, we propose a PMS algorithm for renewable power limit and power reserve alert alarm for stable operation of the system. The proposed algorithm proves its validity through each scenario test with a small microgrid test bed. |
