| Abstract |
Facilities cost down of PV(photovoltaic) plants and the Korean government policies to support their installation are increasing gradually their penetration. Electrical energy generated by large scale PV plants is sold at the price of SMP. In this paper, both SMP’s of the main land and the Jeju Island were compared. And the sale price and the sale amount of the electrical energy generated by a MW-scale PV plant were calculated and analyzed as an example. The SMP of the Jeju Island was higher than it of the main land, and both SMP’s decreased continuously from 2012 until 2015 year. The value of both SMP’s was high and plat during day time when PV plants usually generate electrical energy. There was no difference between the arithmetic average of SMP and the sale price that is the average of SMP weighted at generated electrical energy, and it shows no interactive relation between SMP and generated electrical energy. There were a lot of generated electrical energy but a little sale amount during the July and the August in 2015 year because of low SMP in the time. |
