Abstract |
This paper deals with the refrigerant discharge temperature, fuel saving and emission reduction of a non-starting air conditioner in commercial vehicles. The proposed system consists of ZCS (Zero Current Switching) based resonant DC/DC converter with boosting high frequency transformer, 3 phase DC/AC inverter and compressor motor. In order to verify the performance of the proposed system, a converter / inverter and air conditioner compressor test bench were constructed. As a result, the low battery voltage could be boosted to 250V by the resonance of the high frequency transformer and the output stage circuit of the converter. In addition, the input / output, voltage / current of the converter and the inverter were found to be stable even under transient conditions where the load suddenly changes(0 → 1.5kW). As the output characteristics of the air conditioner, the cooling temperature showed an irregular temperature distribution of about 5℃ in the case of the mechanical type, and a high temperature distribution of 22℃ in the case of the home appliances type. But, it was kept constant at 5℃ in the proposed method. Finally, by the proposed method, it was possible to realize a reduction of 164L of fuel consumption and a reduction of 423kg / L of commercial vehicle in one month. |
