Abstract |
Recently, as the penetration level of the Distributed Energy Resource(DER) using renewable energy in the power system has increased, the process of connecting the DER has become important. DER connection procedure is currently being provided when the capacity of DER is determined, but procedure for determining the capacity of the DER is not provided. In this paper, the installation procedure related to DER determination is proposed. Through the proposed procedure, it is possible to perform the grid connection process by finding the capacity and location of the DER considering the purpose or limitations. In order to verify the proposed procedure, we used the actual domestic system model and optimization program such as DAKOTA(Design Analysis Kit for Optimization and Teraspace Application) and OpenDSS(Open source Distribution System Simulator). Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective in selecting the DER capacity and location for the purpose of the system operator. |
