Abstract |
Recently, as the interest in renewable energy has increased, DC distribution system is attracting attention. To improve the reliability and stability of the DC distribution system, control techniques are needed to minimize the transient state of the distribution. In this paper, we propose a hybrid algorithm of PI control and model predictive control for improvement of transient dynamics and steady state stability of bipolar low voltage direct current distribution (LVDC) system. The proposed algorithm is verified by PSIM simulations and experiments with a 250kW class bipolar LVDC system. |
