Abstract |
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control system is proposed for the MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) PV(Photo Voltaic) generation. The DC-DC converter is connected to the PV module output and controls the output voltage of the PV module to track the reference voltage from the P&O(Perturbe and Observation) algorithm for the MPPT operation. The duty rate of the switching FET(Field Effect Transistor) in the DC-DC converter is determined by the adaptive fuzzy control system even without the exact knowledge of the V-I characteristic equations of the PV module. Simulation result shows that the proposed scheme can be applied to MPPT PV generation. |
