Abstract |
To produce energy-efficient and high-color-rendering LED Packages and lightings, various research have been carried out using RGB multi-chip LEDs. The S/P ratios of RGB LEDs at 3,500K and 6,000K are 1.39 and 2.18, respectively, as noted in IES-TM-12-12. In this paper, optical variations were simulated at the correlated color temperature (CCT) ranging from 3,000K to 6,000K by changing the peak wavelength and the full width at half maximum of the RGBY LED spectrum. Based on the simulation, relationship between S/P ratio and CRI in the CCT range was investigated. |
