Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a central prediction monitoring system of the forest fire. This system provides measuring of distance using the focal distance and angle of view of the infrared camera. And also it receives wind direction velocity from the weather data. The distance measurement algorithm up to the proposed fire point is calculated as an infrared image without using a distance meter. This algorithm is very economic and effective method. The performance Test of central prediction monitoring system was carried out by Korea Emergency Management Institute in case of 500m. 1000m, 1500m separation distance. In our results, the wind was 3m/s northeaster. The measuring distance was 498m. 995m, 1489m respectively. The experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method. Therefore, we can minimize the damage of fire fires using the proposed system which provide a direction of movement for the forest fire. |
