Abstract |
In this paper, the maximum optical emission provisions of LED lights intended for intrinsic safety explosion-proof equipment was identified and an example design of 3W intrinsic safety LED lighting was shown using the Zener Barrier. In particular, measurement of the performance and electrical characteristics of the Zener Barrier is presented during the normal operation and under failure conditions as well. The design and test method in this study is expected to be helpful for further research and development of intrinsic explosion proof equipments. |
