| Abstract |
We proposed high visibility smart LED lighting for solve existed crosswalk lighting system problems. To improve recognizability of pedestrian on signal situation, bright and illuminates of crosswalk and near side, brightness should be established over minimum horizontal illumination(24lx) which driver can recognize obstacles and pedestrian on the crosswalk. Moreover, we reduce brightness of a vertical angle with cut-off light distribution to improve visibility of pedestrian and driver with reduction glariness. We design color-wave flexible LED module for maintain high-uniformity of brightness. Moreover, we proved that the recognizability of driver to pedestrian could be improved with uniformed brightness on crosswalk and near side using simulation tests. Thus, the traffic accident rate on crosswalk could be decreased. |
