| Abstract |
The Fourth industrial revolution become a big issue globally. This refers to changes in the industry that can intelligently control things by using artificial intelligence (AI), information and communication technology (ICT) convergence, and big data. This industrial revolution can be applied as a way to reduce greenhouse gas, for example, reducing use of fossil fuels according to use renewable energy resources such as wind power and solar power. Because of these changes in the power system, changes of distribution system equipment is also required. In this paper, we analyzed the present status and policy of domestic and foreign power industry and current trends of distribution switchgear and circuit breaker. Furthermore, the future development directions of distribution switchgear and circuit breaker are suggested. |
