Abstract |
As the economy develops, the number of tunnels is increasing for fast logistics transportation and in order to resolve the traffic jam because of the number of vehicles increases. In addition, the consumption of electric energy due to tunnel lighting is also increasing. As a light source for lighting in tunnels, energy-efficient LED lamps are gradually being converted. In this study, we controlled tunnel lighting using MCU. They were connected to divide the tunnels into sections, we controlled the brightness and turn on and off of lighting in the tunnel after detecting the external brightness and entry of the vehicle using CdS sensor and reed switch in real time. The purpose of this study is to help drivers' visual adaptation at the entrance and exit of tunnels through the ratio control and we tried to reduce the energy consumption by controlling turn on and off of lighting in the tunnel by vehicle entry interval. |
