Abstract |
Permanent magnet DC motors are gradually being replaced by other motors due to the durability limitation of driving method through mechanical rectification, but they are still widely used for simple control methods and so on. In order to improve the driving performance of the permanent magnet DC motor, an overhang structure and a skew structure are mainly applied. In order to analyze the performance through a finite element analysis in consideration of the three-dimensional structure, it is inevitable to use the three-dimensional model and it takes a long time compared to the two-dimensional model. In this paper, we propose a method to reflect the overhang structure and the skew structure in the two - dimensional analysis model. In order to verify the validity of the proposed method, we compared the results of the analysis of the proposed model with the 3D model. In order to improve the performance of the permanent magnet DC motor, the design parameters were selected and optimized through the proposed model. |
