Abstract |
In this study, a cascaded push - pull DC - DC converter / DC-AC inverter system for commercial electric vehicle cooling system was proposed and its electrical characteristics were investigated. The proposed system uses a push - pull topology connected with a 4 - stage cascade to boost the battery voltage of 24V to an output voltage of 250V, and the 250V DC voltage boosted by the converter was driven by a three-phase inverter to the motor-driven compressor of a commercial vehicle cooling system. The operating modes of the proposed converter are analyzed, it can be seen that the input / output voltage waveform of the converter / inverter is controlled stably in the steady state of 1.5kW and the stepwise variation of the load in the range of the no load ∼ 1.5kW. The proposed converter has the highest efficiency of 93.5% at 1kW load, 92.5% at 1.5kW and 86.5% at 4kW. Finally, testing at a bandwidth of 30MHz to 1GHz for radiated electromagnetic compatibility evaluation showed that the proposed device is not higher than the permissible level limit of EMI, even though it is a trial product. |
