| Abstract |
In this paper economical efficiency of light sources for interior lighting was compared. The raw data were collected in February 2013 at Orlando, Florida, USA. The compared light sources are incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, linear fluorescent lamps and LED lamps. The variables are average light output, prices, maintenance costs, lifetime of lamps and ballasts, average input power, and electricity charge. The results show that linear fluorescent lamps are the most economical light source among them. |
