Abstract |
Half-Bridge (HB) LLC converter has low efficiency in wide input range because of large conduction and switch turn-off losses in the primary side caused by small magnetizing inductance (Lm). In this paper, a buck-integrated LLC resonanat converter is proposed for high efficiency server power supply in the HVDC distribution system with wide input range. The proposed converter has higher efficiency than conventional converter because of the large Lm which causes reduced conduction and switch turn-off losses. Moreover, it can be easily integrated by using conventional CLC output filter. To confirm the operation, features, and validity of the proposed converter, a 260V-400V input (nominal input = 336V) and 12V/750W output laboratory prototype is built and tested. |
