Abstract To reduce the energy of lighting equipment used in underground tunnel section of railway line, using the train location information of the railroad signal system, the lighting control system is developed with an algorithm to set and operate the lighting control section according to the location of train movement. This is the result of a study on the development direction of lighting control algorithm and system, through a demonstration test.
