Abstract |
Excitation system installed in domestic power plant has various generator terminal voltage loop signal input specifications according to domestic and foreign manufacturers. We have developed an excitation system check device of inverter voltage output type that can output voltage without being restricted by these input specifications. The inverter voltage output check device consists of a main controller, an inverter controller, an IGBT inverter bridge and a rectifier. Inverter control method adopts single loop voltage control method. The controller design was verified using PSIM software, and the inverter voltage output was verified by comparing the inverter output voltage and the voltage control signal. The soundness and performance of the inspection system were verified by comparing the field test results with the test operation results in the excitation system with a 500MW generator in Korea. |
