Abstract |
In this paper, we want to analyze the effect on the power system as increase the capacity of renewable energy sources in Gangwon area. First, big data was collected using a GPS-based PMU (Phasor Measurement Unit) installed in the Gangwon area. Next, the power quality of the system is reviewed through the instantaneous voltage fluctuation rate, correlation index, and harmonic content. As a result, wind power has a higher average instantaneous voltage fluctuation rate than PV power, and the instantaneous voltage fluctuation rate of PV and ESS tended to be proportional to the correlation index. Also, it can be seen that the generation of renewable energy sources affects harmonics. |
