Abstract |
The current sensor of the split resistor placement is suitable for high-power and high-frequency application. The current sensor can be flexibly selected according to the current level. The previous current sensor has a generally stable response to 10[Hz]-1[kHz]. Also, the resistance of the previous current sensor is unstable above several hundred [kHz]. However, the proposed split resistor current sensor has a stable resistance until 1[MHz] by low skin effect. Therefore, this study analyzes skin effect and an electrical model for the previous and proposed current sensor. In this study, 30[A], and 50[A] current sensors were tested for the frequency range of 10[Hz] to 50[MHz]. According to the results, the proposed 50[A] current sensor was required stable from 10[Hz] to 1[MHz] frequency. |
