Abstract A sudden and unexpected magnetic field change is needed to be suppressed to measure the sensitivity and resolution of magnetic field sensor in the environmental magnetic field. Magnetic shielding object is available for the suppression of a magnetic field change. 4-layered magnetic shielding object was manufactured by using 1mm thick permalloy panel with high permeability. The object was 630mm in the length and 230mm in the diameter. After stress relief annealing, permeabilities of 17,000-24,000 were obtained for their layers. The shielding effect were obtained ?79dB and ?81dB in the width direction and up-down direction. -36dB was obtained in the longitudinal direction.
