Abstract |
The accident of XLPE power cables occurs mainly in the junction area, and most of the failure causes contamination, air gap, and protrusion of insulators, and the concentration of the field leads to the failure of insulation. Partial discharge is caused by these factors, and when it is observed, it is a method of detecting an insulator abnormality. However, because the insulation breakdown of power cables does not always occur and is difficult to predict, for this reason, various studies of power cable insulation diagnosis techniques have been studied all over the world. In order to measure the partial discharge, the sensor is installed and optimized considering the location. Capacitive sensor is installed at ground line to measure capacitance. Low frequency signal does not pass through semiconducting layer, but high frequency signal passes. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the reliability by reviewing and extending the frequency band of each sensor and comparing and analyzing the data. |
