Abstract |
As an alternative to increase the energy independence rate of zero-energy buildings, maintenance is gaining attention as the use of the photovoltaic power system has increased. In particular, research is focused on PV module failure. The failure classification method of the PV module includes visual inspection, image analysis, and data analysis. In this paper, two methods of classifying failure types based on the I-V curve among data analysis methods are introduced. The first method is a statistical method using I-V curve data such as short-circuit current and open voltage for each failure type, and the second method is a vector analysis method using the electric distance of the I-V curve. And the vector analysis method was analyzed through MATLAB simulation based on the equation of I-V curve for each failure type. |
