Abstract This paper proposes the new jitter characteristic improved monitoring IT sensor for the marine system. The marine monitoring IT sensors make it capable to conduct search missions, provide marine pollution control, research marine life exploration, and predict natural disturbances in the sea. In this paper, the adaptive gain controller which changes its parameters according to the jitter noise situation for obtaining precise location information of the marine IT sensor is developed and analyzed. The new designed marine IT sensor improves the jitter and response characteristic without generating the deadzone. The theoretical and experimental researches have been carried out in the ocean situation. The presented results from the above investigation show improved performance of IT sensor for the marine system.
