Abstract In Korea, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has implemented a zero-energy building certification system since 2017 to achieve the goal of building energy conservation and the national greenhouse gas reduction. Planning. This study analyzes solar power generation facilities by type of installation through sunlight analysis in a zero-energy city and quantitatively presents the effect on the energy independence rate. The energy independence rate was analyzed by calculating the use of the building, the expected number of floors, the building area, and the installable area and capacity of the photovoltaic power generatio facility. It was confirmed that the building attachment type installed on the roof of the building is effective, and the building attachment type installed on the elevation and exterior walls can also contribute to the energy independence rate. In the future, research on various renewable energy sources other than solar power generation facilities is required.
