Abstract |
This paper carried out the study of optical system design which can increase the irradiation volume and uniformity of UV LED lamp used in oil-water sterilization device. Sterilizing devices that use LEDs have lower output than UV lamps, making it difficult to sterilize running water as they require a long time to reach the target amount of irradiation. In addition, Cytop, a material used in optical design, has a high transmittance at 275 nm, but the high price range requires minimum volume in optical design. To solve these problems, the volume of the optical system was minimized. In addition, optical system design of sterilizing device was carried out to satisfy target irradiation quantity and have high illumination intensity uniformity. Finally, the design was verified by applying the optical system designed to the actual sterilization environment to carry out the simulation and analyzing the amount of irradiation and uniformity accordingly. |
