Abstract |
Changes in lighting affect the person in the brain, physiology, and psychology. Although the indoor sports facilities can be applied with emotional lighting to create a more pleasant and concentrated exercise environment, most sports facilities generally use only white light lighting, and the application of emotional lighting to sports facilities is not considered. Therefore, this paper presented lighting scenarios to further immerse themselves in motion and maximize their physical abilities based on the previous studies of human cerebral and emotional responses according to the color of lighting. Pilates was selected for indoor exercise, and it was suggested that red lighting was appropriate for warming up the body, yellow lighting for long-term concentration, cyan lighting for relaxing the body, and orange lighting for meditation, respectively. Then simulations of these conditions were carried out. |
