Abstract |
In this study, a 7kW CVCF(Constant Voltage Constant Frequency) power converter for power generation special vehicles is proposed and the output characteristics are investigated. The proposed system is implemented with a generator that is connected to the PTO (Power Take Off) hydraulic system of the engine of a special vehicle, and a power converter consisting of a 7kW boost DC-DC converter and a single-phase DC-AC inverter that is robust against noise and resonance. The type and capacity of the generator was selected as an 8kW class 3-phase permanent magnetic synchronous generator (PMSG) in consideration of the capacity of the 7kW power converter. The three-phase PMSG generates the 240V/250Hz induced electromotive force, and this induced electromotive force is boosted to DC stabilized by a 3-phase diode rectifier and a boost DC-DC converter, and a single-phase PWM inverter outputs a 220V/60Hz commercial voltage. In order to confirm the effectiveness of power generation system of the proposed special vehicle, a prototype is manufactured and the output relationship between the PMSG's induced electromotive force and the power converter, and the output characteristics and efficiency according to the load variations will be considered. |
