Abstract |
The number of additional distribution transformers installed has been reduced because power demand is saturated. On the other hand, older transformers are increasing. The introduction of an asset management system is inevitable in order to reasonably determine the disposal and repair of transformers. Asset management systems assess performances of assets, which are transformer, cable, and switchgear using risk assessments. Risk assessments have various method while there is a risk matrix that is typically used worldwide. The risk matrix consist of a probability of failure and a consequence of failure. In this paper, life assessment is studied in order to develop the probability of failure for distribution transformers. |
