Abstract PV-ESS(Photovoltaic-Energy Storage System) system is a classified grid-connected PV-ESS system, and a self-consumption PV-ESS system that is currently applied in Korea. In this paper, an algorithm for a grid-connected PV-ESS system was developed. To achieve this end, firstly we developed marginal reverse power price which is index of ESS charging and discharging. And developed an optimal operation algorithm for a single grid-connected PV-ESS system. Secondly, using this, we developed an algorithm that optimally determine the integrated operation plan for multiple PV-ESS systems. In other words, when output reduction is instructed from TVPP(Technical Virtual Power Plant) to ASC(Advanced Service Center) of CVPP(Commercial Virtual Power Plant), we set a possible scenario and developed an algorithm to determine the optimal scenario with the minimum payback period. And proved this.
