Abstract |
Recently, as applications to which secondary batteries are applied, such as ESS and EV, increase worldwide, demand for and interest in secondary batteries are also rapidly increasing. However, along with this, explosion and fire accidents caused by secondary batteries are also increasing. In order to prevent explosion and fire accidents caused by secondary batteries, supercapacitors have recently been proposed as an alternative, and a hybrid concept power supply system in which a supercapacitor and a secondary battery are applied together has been proposed. In this paper, we proposed a power converter control method for stably charging a supercapacitor in a hybrid power supply system in which a lithium secondary battery and a supercapacitor are combined. In addition, the validity of the proposed method was verified through experiments using PSIM simulations and experimental sets. |
