Abstract |
Recently, as a solution to climate change, a conversion from fossil fuel energy to renewable energy is in progress. Networked Distribution System (NDS) not only increases the penetration of Distributed Generations (DGs), but also has many advantages, such as improved reliability, improved utilization rate, and reduced power loss. However, due to the structure in which each Distribution Line (DL) is linked, bidirectional fault current flows in the event of a fault, and this characteristic causes problems such as malfunction of the protection device due to direction detection failure. In order to solve the protection coordination issue of NDS, this paper utilizes HILS (Hardware-In-the Loop Simulation) to test protection coordination under various fault scenario and ultimately aims to develop IED (Intelligent Electronic Device). |
