Abstract |
Stable and reliable quality power is needed as an industrial society develops rapidly. Currently, most industrial control and automation-related equipment has built-in power devices with non-linear load characteristics as a result phenomena such as voltage fluctuations, harmonics, and power imbalance are emerging as serious problems. It is causing a huge amount of economic loss because of an instantaneous voltage drops occur and control devices are affected by these problems. Therefore, power equipment that can quickly detect a system fault or sag and supply stable power to the load is required. In this paper, a unit module 375kVA class for developing 1,500kVA high-efficiency/modular offline uninterruptible power supply device of a line-interactive large-capacity type verifies the proposed system by designing module system configuration, application technology, operation mode, system performance/characteristics, system control simulation, and testing. |
