Abstract |
Cultural heritage analysis is limited in sample acquisition and non-destructive analysis is recommended. Therefore, in this paper, a new
scientific approach was attempted to investigate the characteristics of aerial lime. As a result, traditional analysis and micro-CT analysis were
applied and compared to confirm the carbonation characteristics and pore characteristics of aerial lime. The two analysis methods to confirm
the carbonation characteristics were complementary each other. especially micro-CT analysis was effective in specimens after 14days of
accelerated carbonation. While, The pore characteristic analysis were significantly different in the two analysis results, which is assumed to be
due to the different specifications of the specimens used in the analysis. So, In the future, multilateral interpretation can be possible if the
two analysis methods are combined in aerial lime analysis. |
