Abstract The color coordinate measurement precision was evaluated using the average color distance. This method can be used to numerically compare the distribution of the measured color coordinates and the distribution probability, and can be used to evaluate the distribution of the color coordinates of the light source, the stability of the color coordinates, and the precision of the measurement equipment. The distribution and stability of the color coordinates of the LED lamps were evaluated for the LED lamps which had passed 200 hours and 900 hours of aging.
