Abstract |
In the logistics system, a conveyor system that converts linear motion into rotational motion is widely applied. Induction motors are mainstream in the operation of these conveyor systems. The conveyor uses a deceleration device to make the conveying speed of the object proper. The load of the conveyor connected to the speed reducer is generally lower than that of the motor. Conveyor installations are usually located far from the power supply, so the voltage drop is high. If the voltage drop is high when power is supplied to the load, the current will increase and the conductor will generate more heat than specified. In this study, we proposed a method to solve various problems such as heat generation and power factor compensation when the power factor is lowered and the voltage drop is high when operating at a lower value than the specified load condition. |
