Abstract |
The classic system in computing education that employs theory and practice in parallel has become unsuitable for diversified areas and convergent learning according to the increase in the school population and their diverse needs. Therefore, deep contemplation as to new education methodologies and class design is needed. By particularly investigating computational thinking and unplugged activities, this study aims to design the education contents utilizing lighting devices for unplugged software education of elementary and middle school students, and propose plans to apply them. It is expected that students will naturally experience connections between subjects and convergent learning on information, mathematics and basic electricity during the process of solving problems presented in these education contents. |
