Abstract |
The LLC resonant converters operate over a wide frequency range, achieve ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) of the primary side switch, and the voltage output through the secondary side rectifier diode can achieve high power density and high efficiency. A typical LLC resonator can be adjusted for gain through frequency control in the mid-load area. However, in light load areas, the frequency limit will reduce the range of gain control, which will make a wide range of output voltage regulation impossible. Therefore, in this study, frequency control and ON/OFF control were applied to single-Stage LLC resonant converter with PFC function. PFC operates abnormally by controlling the upper and lower switches that are used previously. To prevent this, this paper proposes that the PFC operates normally, changes the value of the on/off ratio, and has a wider range of output voltage by applying the method of controlling only the top switch on/off control. |
