Abstract |
Globally, power systems have grown rapidly and steadily as power demand increases. Recently, utilities are demanding an optimized investment management system that meets the company's Key Performance Index (KPI) to manage a number of aging power installations. However, most utilities are following a simple method of estimating replacement, repair, and maintenance costs according to a given budget, which makes it difficult to manage an optimized budget. Therefore, this paper proposes an portfolio optimization method for transformer asset management based on Health and Risk Index. The effectiveness of the proposed investment optimization method is verified through simulation for the power transformers. |
