Abstract |
The existing insulation material degradation analysis was mainly conducted using the method through the international standard of IEC 60126 and the thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). Polyolefin-based materials are greatly affected by many variables such as the reaction order (n), conversion degree (α), and temperature increase rate (β) in predicting the lifetime and they have the disadvantage of requiring a lot of samples and taking a long time. exist. Therefore in this study, a relatively simple oxidation induction time (OIT) lifetime prediction was performed and compared with TGA. As a result of the measurement OIT was approximately 24 days and TGA was approximately 32 days, and it was measured similarly to the actual accelerated degradation test result. |
