Abstract |
Old voltage equations related to AC/DC motor are not appropriate equation format to do simulation with Matlab or Simulink. That is, it is possible to express them with state equations in which the differential equations should have only one variable, but they are expressed by partial differential equations which means that they can’t be described by programming language such as Matlab, Simulink, etc. This paper proposes new flux equations which are expressed by only one differential variable instead of old voltage equations. Also a new Simulink model based on the proposed flux equations is developed and it describes 3-phase induction motor. To make sure the justification of the model, the features while operated with load are compared with those of 3-phase induction motor in PSIM which is very popular simulation tool. After simulation, the comparison result is confirmed with very similar. |
